General information
Everyone has a mountain they have to climb.
In the Petang district of Bali, there is a mountain called Puncak Tedung.
Waka Tangga will take you there on a special journey to a special place,
to climb that mountain. It's a challenging journey of self-discovery,
of quiet reflection and eco-adventure. Journey deep into the Balinese
countryside, ascend the sacred mountain to visit four age-old temples
and be in touch with the serenity, sanctity, and holiness of centuries
of worship. Have a delicious meal of traditional Balinese delicacies
at a spectacular viewing platform built into the mountainside. Except
good walking shoes and a hat, Waka Tangga supplies you with a traditional
backpack, with extra food and water. You are given a pilgrim's staff,
and a prayer sash to wear in the temples to make it a very special experience.
NB: Guest should be semi-fit and wear comfortable climbing shoes
and clothes.
