Mercure Kuta Hotel, located next to the Hard Rock Hotel has a boutique look to it with earthy colours and extensive use of thatch roof, but has a cosmopolitan feel to it. The pool and deck area is found on the roof of the lobby and is amazingly designed ? again with thatched roof bales, a sunken bar and infinity edged pool which gives the impression of being a part of the vast Indian Ocean.
