Welcome to Pita Maha Resort

In 1994, to commemorate birth of this artistic force and to keep alive original philosophy, Pita Maha Resort and Spa was created as a sister hotel to celebrated original, opening it's doors on December 1,1995. Designed by a member of Ubud's Royal family, a descendant of founding Prince, Pita Maha Resort and Spa lives and breathes as an organic Balinese village, with 24 villas set in traditionally styled walled compounds which provide the ultimate in comfort and privacy.

Set into side of Tjampuhan valley in Bali's cultural heartland of Ubud, Pita Maha Resort and Spa is a landscaped jewel overlooking beautiful River Oos. From lobby and restaurant area, the natural beauty of Ubud foothills is immediately apparent. Sweeping views of lush rice terraces and tropical woodland draw eye along valley to sea, where the airport is just 45 minutes by road from this mountain retreat.

Most of the villas enjoy a private pool and enclosed garden, four with two storey facilities to accommodate families. All villas are luxuriously appointed, with air conditioning, satellite TV, private bar and other modern conveniences. The standard of workmanship, in wood and stone, befits that of most ancient and powerful Balinese palaces, with carefully tended gardens and an eye for detail that will delight the most discerning guest.

A split level restaurant, opening onto the valley, offers a sumptuous range of Western and Oriental specialties, while an informal warung alongside spring water fed main pool provides snacks and drinks in a relaxed setting.
