Rediscovery The Majesty of
Borobudur
In commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the Borobudur
Temple restoration, the Government of Central Java is proud
to organize the Borobudur International Festival.
Borobudur Temple itself hots the setting for this performance,
starting in the last light of the day and continuing throughout
the night under the full moon.
The event is supported by tourist industry of Indonesia, with
Central Javanese hotels offering discount rates for participants
(see: Hotel
rates and Yogyakarta
tours) and the national airline of Garuda Indonesia
supplying concessionary fares for those who are going to attend
the Festival
